What worked as your inspiration behind this line?
There is no particular source of inspiration for this line. I have been designing for
quite some time now and it is something that comes to me naturally.

Did you have any particular theme for this line?
I have used a wide array of fantasy floral, paisleys, and abstract motifs

Any particular colours that you chose for this line?
I have used a wide palette of aesthetically pleasing colours.

What are the colours that you are most comfortable to work with?
I like to apply a wide range of colours from soothing tones to vibrant hues that blends in with the season.

What materials did you use most in this collection? Why?
Muslin, Jamdani and silk because I have always been an advocate of promoting Bangladeshi handicrafts. Moreover, I have blended cotton and different silks to create a unique line of fabrics.

How important is material when it comes to sari and kameezes?
True that a good design speaks out for itself but material on the clothing is equally important. The material strikes a balance between style and comfort.

Do you have a designer team with you or all the designs are done by you solely?
Most of the designs are my concepts; however I do have a team of design technicians who help me to realize the initial concept into designs and eventually the finished product.

Who is your target market for this collection?
Women who are selective and care for exclusivity. I chose this market segment because it provides the right rewards for creative ingenuity.

What is the price range of this collection? How was this pricing done?
The prices are consistent with the nature of design and type of fabric used. I try to keep it in an affordable range. Usually the pricing is cost based however sometimes we have to take a market based approach.

In a time when fashion houses are in every street how do you think your products will stand out as a unique piece?
Every fashion house competes based on three factors: design, materials, and craftsmanship. The end product depends on how these components are harmonized. Me and my team are poised to create something truly unique with careful thought, hard work and innovation.

What are your future plans?
I am working to introduce a line of accessories that compliments my existing and upcoming products. Furthermore I plan on adding new materials and work on different media.
